CodeCatalyst in us-west-2 setup for SSO with Identity Center in ap-southeast-2. Possible/Not possible?

I can't seem to get CodeCatalyst to see Identity Center that is set up in ap-southeast-2 as Codecatalyst is only available in 2 regions and it wants the identity center to be set up in those regions. I don't want to set up Identity center in those regions.. Any one know of a work around?

Hi there, you don't need to set up Identity Center (IDC) in the same region as CodeCatalyst. You can have your IDC in ap-southeast-2, and the CodeCatalyst Space in either US-West or DUB. Are you encountering any errors when attempting this? Here is a document that provides a walkthrough of a similar setup. Please feel free to reach out if you still encounter challenges.

What is the error message that you are getting? I do not see a reason why this should not be supported to be in a different region.

Please also add this feedback in the "provide feedback" option in CodeCatalyst.
