DMS task won't start some of the days without visible errors

We have a replication task of mariadb to S3-parquet which runs once a day. However, some of the days it just wouldn't start at all. I looked through the cloudwatch logs and no warnings or errors found.

Sometimes there's [SOURCE_CAPTURE ]I: External stop signalled during wait message, but it doesn't prevent the replication from happening at other times. Any ideas what could be the reason for this?
