Cannot add/change log configuration to ECS task revision

I wanted to change the log configuration for a task by making a new revision. However I don't see how to do that. Does it really require to create a new task?

Hello there,

Yes, it requires creating a new task definition revision and then create a task from that new revision.

    Thanks for the reply. Do you mean a new task definition or a new task revision. I didn't see how to do it for the latter.

Hi,

You need to edit the task definition in the JSON, or use the classic console view.

Log configuration seems to be missing from the new console version. You can go to the old version by toggling the "New ECS Experience" Switch in the top left.
