Setting column width in pivot table - Quicksight

Question

I am trying to modify the column width of the pivot table. When I refresh the page, the changes I have made are not updated in the table. Is there any way to prevent the pivot table from resizing?

Are you using free form, as described in this [blog post](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/big-data/design-captivating-amazon-quicksight-dashboards-with-new-table-and-pivot-table-features/) or the default view?

If yes can you please describe a bit better the situation?
