How do I restore Amazon Bedrock service quotas to their default levels?

0

Context: I am an Amazon Bedrock user that specifically cares about using Anthropic Claude models. I am being impacted ThrottlingExceptions that I can trace back to services quotes on On-Demand InvokeModel and Cross-Region InvokeModel usage. In particular, these service quota levels are far, far below the default levels for these services (see attached screenshots/examples).

Questions:

  • How can I restore these quotas (particularly around InvokeModel requests and tokens) to their default levels?
  • Why am I blocked from requesting increases on these service quota levels?

Example A: Anthropic, us-west-2 Example B: Anthropic, us-east-2

Hello.

You cannot apply for an increase to the InvokeModel quota from the service quota screen, so you will need to contact AWS Support as shown in the image below.
Therefore, we recommend that you open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing".
Inquiries under "Account and billing" can be made free of charge.
Please contact us using the URL below.
