MTurk: Different rates for full and partial survey completion

Question

For an MTurk HIT (survey) - I have a knowledge check (basic arithmetic) approximately 3 minutes into the survey. I only want those that pass the check to complete the full survey. My intended payment scheme is $5 for those who complete the full survey, and $0.3 for those who fail to pass the knowledge check.

How do I implement this? (For ex: if I just provide a code at the end of the full survey, only those who complete the full survey will be paid.)
I also want 50 participants completing the full survey, subject to not more than 200 participants dropping out at the knowledge check.

You can try creating a qualification requirement before allowing users to complete the survey. Here's a tutorial you can use: [Tutorial: Create a qualification requirement that workers have achieved at least 80% accuracy on previous tasks](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSMechTurk/latest/AWSMechanicalTurkRequester/CustomQualTutorialAccuracy.html). With this method, you can set different pay rates for the qualification task, and the actual task.
