I understand and apologize for this frustration.
As your case is already in the queue to be addressed changing your Support plan may have no effect. Even after upgrading the actual time can depend on the complexity of the issue and current support case volume.
I've passed along everything you've shared here, along with the urgency of this. I assure you your case is in the best hands, with the best tools, to be resolved. Please continue to reach out over your case to ask questions and seek updates.

I understand your frustration with your AWS account remaining suspended even after paying all past-due invoices. This situation is not uncommon, but the timeframe you're experiencing is concerning.
When an AWS account is suspended due to non-payment, making the payment is the first step, but it doesn't automatically reactivate the account. Account reactivation requires manual intervention from the AWS Support team, which can take time, though 5 days without a response is longer than typical.
Here are some steps you can take to address this situation:
-
Ensure you've opened your support case under the "Account and billing" category, which is available even for suspended accounts. If you've only contacted via email, create a formal support case through the AWS Support Center.
-
In your support case, clearly explain that you've made the payment 5 days ago and provide any relevant payment confirmation details or transaction IDs to help AWS verify your payment.
-
Check all email addresses associated with your AWS account, including spam folders, for any communications from AWS that might require additional information or verification.
-
Make sure all your contact information in the AWS account is up-to-date so AWS can reach you if needed.
-
If you have an AWS Account Manager or are working with an AWS Partner, consider reaching out to them for assistance in escalating the issue internally.
-
Update your existing support case to emphasize the business impact and critical nature of your services being affected, which might help prioritize your case.
While the waiting period is frustrating, especially with services like Lightsail being inaccessible, continuing to engage with AWS Support through your open cases is still the primary channel for resolving this issue. Be persistent but patient, and don't hesitate to request updates if you haven't received a response within a reasonable timeframe.
For future reference, to avoid similar situations, it's advisable to keep payment methods up to date and closely monitor billing notifications.

Thank you for the update. Since I am posting this from a different account (Builder ID) because I am locked out of my main account, I want to ensure the team is looking at the correct case.
My Support Case ID is: ***************
Please pass this Case ID to the team so they can locate my specific account and verify that the payment has been made. I am still waiting for the suspension to be lifted."
*Edit: Removed case ID — Doug S.
