Based on the available information, Amazon Lex V2's QnA built-in intent currently supports Anthropic Claude 3 Haiku and Anthropic Claude 3 Sonnet models for enhanced conversational capabilities. This update was released on July 10, 2024.
There is no specific information indicating that Claude Sonnet 4 is currently supported for the QnAIntent in Amazon Lex V2. While Claude Sonnet 4 is available in other AWS services like Amazon Q Developer CLI and Amazon Bedrock (with expanded context window capabilities), the documentation doesn't mention its integration with Amazon Lex V2's QnAIntent feature.
The QnA built-in intent for generative AI in Amazon Lex V2 did receive an update on July 26, 2024, to support Bedrock Knowledge Base and Guardrails, which may help enhance its capabilities even with the currently supported models.
Without specific information about future model support plans for the QnAIntent feature, I cannot confirm whether Claude Sonnet 4 will be added as an option to replace Claude 3.5 Sonnet after its deprecation.
