Gamelift: Maximum number of players per game session is 200

The maximum number of players per game session is 200.

My question on this is. Why? Technical limit? But I find the number 200 too smooth. I know the limit of 256 simultaneous players for technical reasons, but not 200.

Are there plans to change that or is that ever feasible?
