Android and IOS app for AWS IoT Core

We are developing a IoT device with an AWS Expresslink module. The device is a switch. Now, we want to create an app for end-users (consumers) to connect with the device and control its on/off function through their smartphones. Is Amplify Studio and Cognito the best and easiest way to develop this app? Additionally, we aim to include other business users who can access a specific IoT device only once with a temporary password. What is the best approach to achieve this?
