Does a delete operation against an object in Glacier count as a retrieval?

I want to delete objects from my s3 bucket some of them are in the glacier tier and i want to know if this operation will count as retrieval and therefore i will have to pay this fee.

No. You do not need to restore the archive object to issue a delete, therefore you will not have to pay any data retrieval costs for deleting those objects.

If you delete objects before the minimum storage duration time - which depends on type- then you may incur into a fee.
