about laravel and pricing and aws

0

I am currently using reseller hosting from another company. I want to switch to Aws. 1- First of all, I can't understand the pricing. I created a few lightsails to try it out, but then I closed it and there were still amounts I had to pay. I thought the first 3 months were free, it said so in the packages I chose. I can't understand your pricing... 2- When I get reseller hosting, I don't have to manage issues such as mail server, cpanel ...etc, but I have problems with operations such as laravel queue because they stop background applications. I want to use aws for this, but I have no idea where to start. If I use lightsail, how will I open a mail account for my customers? How do you manage this process best?

Hi,

I recommend creating a billing support case to resolve any issues with the Lightsail billing. https://support.console.aws.amazon.com/support/home?region=us-east-1#/

For your other questions, Lightsail does not currently offer managed instances, so you will need to self-manage your host and its services . But, there are tutorials you can view on the documentation website that may help.

As an example, we have a quick start guide for cpanel here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lightsail/latest/userguide/amazon-lightsail-quick-start-guide-cpanel.html

For configuring an email server, the following guides may help:

Hi,

The Lightsail charge you appear to be incurring is for an unattached Static IP address in your account which still exists. Please delete the Static IP which can be found on your Lightsail console's Networking page to stop the charges going further. (If this IP were attached to a Lightsail instance, it would not incur any charges while attached)

For pricing information please refer https://aws.amazon.com/lightsail/pricing/ and https://aws.amazon.com/lightsail/faq/ -> Billing and account management

As an example, for a Linux instance with public IPv4 address, the Lightsail free trial includes 1 instance of one of the plan sizes $5 USD/month, $7 USD/month, or $12 USD/month for 90 days.

Thanks.
