AWS CodePipeline historic logs

Hi everyone, I've setup some Codepipeline infrastructure using CDK and would like to monitor the historic logs of codepipeline runs. But after a pipeline has run, the logs just disappear (From the CodePipeline dashboard, as well as cloudwatch). I can see the success or failed pipeline instances in the historic view, but I can't see the logs for each specific run. How can I keep the historic logs for a specific retention period?
