I don't have any server running on EC2 but it's charged for $1 every month for quite a while. The cost explorer says it's $0.91 EC2-etc, and $0.09 tax. I want to remove the service, but don't know how to find what exactly is being charged.

  • Try looking into billing console for this cost in the last month like EBS or snapshot? Any screenshot of billing can help to understand more about the problem

The Cost Explorer might not label the charge as "EC2-etc." Even after terminating EC2 instances, you could still incur charges from items like snapshots or EBS volumes. Check all regions using EC2 Global View: EC2 Global View

What specifically does it Cost Explorer describe the charge as, it won't be EC2-etc ?

Even after terminating all of your EC2 instances you may still have other items accruing charges, such as snapshots or EBS volumes, and/or there could be resources in other regions. Check all regions with EC2 Global View https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2globalview/home

It was "EC2-Other", not "EC2-etc", translation error. But I found where it was through EC2 Global View. Thanks
