What happenes to ec2 classic resources after Aug 15th 2022?

I am curious what will happen to ec2 classic resources after the August 15th deadline. The ["How to Prepare"](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/ec2-classic-is-retiring-heres-how-to-prepare/) doc just mentions

>On August 15, 2022 we expect all migrations to be complete, with no remaining EC2-Classic resources present in any AWS account.

What will happen to resources that are remain in the AWS account? Will the resources be available for migration or backup after this deadline or will all resources and their data be lost?

As you can read in our Blog Post here: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/ec2-classic-is-retiring-heres-how-to-prepare/ we will not disrupt any customer workload running on AWS EC2 Classic. We are notifying this more than 12 months in advance with lots of tools and resources.
My recommendation is to contact your account team from AWS (TAM or Solutions Architect) in case you may have any doubt or risk on how to migrate the VMs you may have using EC2 classic.
