Amazon Route 53 Resolver Network Interface Billing Charges

0

Hi,

I am recieving Amazon Route 53 billing charges, I have setup a simple web server as a test and only have an 'A' Record in the DNS.

However I am being charged the $0.125 per hour per Resolver Network Interface for something.

I have run the command "aws route53resolver list-resolver-endpoints" and there is no output but I am still being charged :

[cloudshell-user@ip-10-132-50-187 ~]$ aws route53resolver list-resolver-endpoints { "ResolverEndpoints": [], "MaxResults": 10

Can anyone advise?

It would be a shame to close my account as I have only just opened it....

Could you please take a closer look at your AWS billing details to identify the specific charges related to Route 53 Resolver Network Interfaces. This can help you understand the source of the charges and determine if they are accurate.

Check Resource Usage: Verify if there are any Route 53 Resolver endpoints or other related resources that might be causing the charges.

I suggest you contact aws support If you are unable to identify the source of the charges or if you believe there might be an error, consider reaching out to AWS Support for assistance. They can help investigate the billing charges and provide guidance on how to address the issue since it related to billing and provide them with the output of this command " aws route53resolver list-resolver-endpoints" If you are unable to identify the source of the charges or if you believe there might be an error, consider reaching out to AWS Support for assistance. They can help investigate the billing charges and provide guidance on how to address the issue.

Optimize Configuration: Once you have resolved the immediate issue, consider optimizing your Route 53 Resolver configuration to minimize costs. This may involve reviewing your DNS resolution requirements and adjusting your configuration accordingly

Hope it clarifies and if does I would appreciate answer to be accepted so that community can benefit for clarity, thanks ;)
