One of the Hyper-V component is not running

Question

hi  AWS
I have created a EC2 instance of windows server 2016
I want to install hyper visor on the server
I have install all the component required for hyper visor. It is showing in server manager. when I am  adding image  in hypervisor  and click on connect.
I am getting error  The application encountered an error while attempting to  change state
Failed  to start virtual machine because one of the  Hyper-V component  is not running.
Virtual machine ID  75259FB5-0F26-4D22-9390-CA9AADC2AA91

Answer

Are you using bare metal EC2 instances?
If you want to run Hyper-V VM inside an EC2, you'll need to spin up a bare metal type EC2 instance.
