Kinesis Java Application limits

I see on the Kinesis Data Analytics for Java Applications Limits page that "You can create up to 50 Kinesis Data Analytics applications per Region in your account. You can create a case to request additional applications via the service limit increase form."

I take it that this means that 50 applications is a soft limit. If I need to request an increase, is there a hard limit on the number of applications that I can request? Thanks.

There isn't a hard limit. If you ask us for 1M apps, we may try to understand why you need this limit, but there isn't any reason we can't approve it.
