SocketError AWS Redis

0

I have a web application application using AWS Redis. The application keeps on throwing the following error message. The error happens intermittently. Message: Error connecting to Redis on ***.cache.amazonaws.com:6379 (SocketError) Error has occurred.

The web application is running in Kubernetes. When it happens, I normally check the Redis cluster metrics and all looks good. AWS also doesn't show any outage as far as Redis is concerned when this happens.

Any idea what could cause this?
