Can you extend a SQL Server availability group from on premises or EC2 to RDS Custom? And, can you have a read replica with RDS Custom?

Yes.
- You can extend an availability group from on premises or EC2 to RDS Custom for SQL Server.
- For read replicas: If you'd like to create a read replica, you can implement it using availability groups. At this time (August 2022), it's not a natively supported feature.
