S3 Table buckets tagging

0

Hello, I wanted to inquire whether the new S3 Table Buckets support tagging or whether there are plans to add this functionality in the future. Currently, I cannot find any information about this in the AWS console or documentation.

Currently, tags are not supported for S3 Table buckets and tables [1].

However, I have submitted a feature request upon your behalf to the S3 team to let them know there is customer demand for this feature. However, I cannot provide an ETA on when the feature will be available as the resolution will be based on the priority set by our back-end team. As soon as it gets released, it should be publicly announced in either one of the following links:

Based on the available information, I don't see specific details about tagging support for S3 Table Buckets in the provided sources.

The sources do confirm that regular S3 buckets (both versioned and non-versioned) support tagging, and there is specific information about tagging for directory buckets using the AWS CLI, console, SDK, and REST API.

For S3 Table Buckets specifically, the information is not present in the provided sources. To get accurate information about tagging support for S3 Table Buckets or future plans for this functionality, I would recommend:

  1. Checking the latest AWS S3 documentation
  2. Contacting AWS Support directly
  3. Posting your question on AWS re:Post where AWS employees or community experts might have the most current information
