Direct Connect Bandwidth Consumption Limits per account/Application

Is there any way to limit bandwidth consumption per account or application sharing a Direct Connect link. Is bandwidth/traffic shaping possible?

No, this isn't possible from the AWS side. The customer could implement bandwidth controls on their edge routers, which would be on a per-VIF (customer VLAN) basis.
