I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with receiving mail. The problem sounds like an issue with your MX record containing more than 1 service resulting in deliveries to the wrong service.
Please make sure WorkMail is the only service in your MX record.

Thank you Robin, I did have two mx records for the domain, one pointing to amazonses and one to amazonaws I have removed the ses, however I also have turned off DMARC and both these actions seem to have improved the situation, although I was only experiencing intermitten issues with one particular users email so I will wait a day or so before assuming this has been resolved and will then test reimplementing DMARC.
