Is it possible to configure documentDB global clusters from sa-east-1?

I'm trying to configure global clusters in sa-east-1.

However as the image below shows, the option Add Region does not show for me. I'm using a db.r5.large instance type and sa-east-1 as the primary region.

I cannot find anything about that in documentDB docs.

At the time of this post, sa-east-1 is a region where Amazon DocumentDB Global Cluster is not supported yet. Please follow the latest announcements, as we work backwards from customers feedback and new feature support is added.
