EC2 suddenly unresponsive even after reboot, SSH or serial console connections not working either?

0

Hi all of a sudden my EC2 (Linux Ubuntu) is unresponsive (no changes or deployments of code): tried rebooting, status checks fail, SSH not working, either serial connections is not working.

I tried looking at logs but there's no new log, just old one from December. It always worked without problems, nothing was changed. Screenshot as well is not working.

Status checks says System reachability check failed and Instance reachability check failed.

Hello.

If AWS hardware deterioration is a problem, you can start it on different hardware by stopping and starting EC2.

Absurd, just received this email from Amazon. I mean...they should recover it on another hardware!

Hello,

EC2 has detected degradation of the underlying hardware hosting your Amazon EC2 instance (instance-ID: xx) associated with your AWS account (AWS Account ID: xx) in the eu-north-1 region. Due to this degradation your instance could already be unreachable. We will stop your instance after 2024-02-06 12:00:00 UTC. Please take appropriate action before this time.

The affected instances are listed below:

xx
