Hi,
To pay your AWS bill, you typically have a few options:
-
Automatic payment: AWS charges your default payment method automatically at the beginning of each month for the previous month's usage.
-
Manual payment through the AWS Billing Console:
- Log in to the AWS Billing and Cost Management console
- Navigate to the "Payments" page
- Select the invoice you want to pay
- Choose "Complete payment" or "Verify and pay"
- Confirm your payment method and complete the transaction
- Advance Pay: This is a feature that allows you to add funds to your AWS account in advance, which can then be used to pay for your AWS usage. However, this still requires a separate payment method like a bank account or electronic funds transfer, not an Amazon balance.
If you're having trouble paying your bill or need to make alternative arrangements, you can contact AWS Support by creating a case in the Support Center. They can assist you with billing inquiries and payment issues.
Remember, AWS operates on a pay-as-you-go model for most services, billing you monthly for the resources you use. While there are some options for longer-term commitments like Reserved Instances or Savings Plans that can offer discounts, these still typically involve monthly billing rather than a single upfront payment for extended periods.
