Getting offered a job in technology (software development) job role by getting certified with AWS certified solutions architect certification exam

0

I am just starting out my career in Information Technology (IT) or software development. I do not have prior full time work experience in the field of software development. I am thinking to start out by getting certified with AWS certified solutions architect associate examination. One "learning resource" I found for the same from the internet is through the website link https://www.classcentral.com/course/acloudguru-aws-certified-solutions-architect-asso-103566. Even though I do not know how it works (i.e how to complete this course and get the corresponding certificate added to my profile in job websites, I am not hesitant to give it a try). May I please know what are the :technical" skills that I can develop by taking up this certification exam of AWS and how can I know about it? Also, I found from a document (whose website link I am mentioning below), that I can develop technical skills in the areas mentioned in the document by taking up this certification exam of AWS. But, I do not know whether they will be "endorsed" by AWS or is it just a 'plain' certification document on paper (without any endorsement from aws)?

May I please know whether by adding this certificate credentials (certificate number, AWS candidate ID etc) on my resume when applying to jobs in companies, the recruiters will be able to screen my resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) successfully and take my interview for any available job roles in software development in their company?

I also want to know that as I do not have the necessary money to pay for this certification exam fees with me, I will have to depend on some 'sponsorship' or any sort of certification exam fee coverage for booking this certification exam. May I please know how can I do it and how can I know more about it?

As far as learning or preparing for this certification exam is concerned, may I please know whether the study material that I got from the internet (as indicated in the website link given below) is sufficient for preparing for this exam and whether the content covered in this certification guide will help me clear the Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam?

If I have any further questions regarding taking up or preparing for Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification exams, may I please know whether I can write back in this AWS re:Post portal?

Hi - Thanks for checking. Every job requirements have specific of set of requirements and experience. Please read those and accordingly apply. We will not be able to provide further advice around that. However we can help to see which cert is best for your case. You have following option if you would like to explore.

  1. FOUNDATIONAL - Knowledge-based certification for foundational understanding of AWS Cloud. No prior experience needed.
  2. ASSOCIATE - Role-based certifications that showcase your knowledge and skills on AWS and build your credibility as an AWS Cloud professional. Prior cloud and/or strong on-premises IT experience recommended.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate is one of three Associate exams currently offered by AWS Certification. It builds upon the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and helps you showcase knowledge and skills in AWS technology across a wide range of AWS services. This certification is not only for someone who is pursuing a Solutions Architect role, but is equally helpful to an individual who is keen to learn about and demonstrate how AWS services are being used in real world use cases. This exam does not require deep, hands-on coding experience, although familiarity with basic programming concepts could be an advantage. AWS provide digital badges as a benefit of earning an AWS Certification to showcase certification status. (https://aws.amazon.com/certification/). Also refer to this FAQ, https://aws.amazon.com/certification/faqs/?ch=sec&sec=faq

Hope this helps and all the very best for your journey ahead.
