Horrible proctoring experience

1

I want to report an extremely disappointing experience giving the AWS Cloud practitioner exam on 12/30/2022. Apologies if this is not the right place to post this experience but i wanted to post anyways. I appeared for AWS cloud practitioner exam on 12/30/2022. I would like to add that i took up a take from home test. I encountered one of the most torchuring proctoring experiences ever. Right from having to show around the room where i was taking the exam from. Despite panning the webcam very slowly all across the room very carefully the proctor was very very harsh and made me show around the room 1000 times more. This is not only frustrating but just adds more stress to people who have exam anxiety.

Besides that i could not even move my head around to the even read the question properly. I would immediately see an alert that the exam would end if i moved my head. How can one expect a person to sit like a statue without being able to move their heads even to read the question. This is just impractical. After completing the exam, I submitted the exam for the result and was very happy to see the screen "Grade: PASS. Congratulation! You have successfully passed the AWS .... Within 5 business days, you will receive an email stating your exam result ......" . But my overall experience with proctoring was so bad that it gave me a bad headache for the rest of the day.

I really do want to do more certifications but i would never take it from home ever again solely due to the terrible PSI proctoring experience, Disappointed!!

  • This morning, I did my AWS CCP CLF-C02. The proctoring experiences is bad with Pearson Vue, they just message me and did not speak at all. I show them the room and put my phone away and was clear to start. After that I completed all the questions. I very confident about the exam but still I would like to again review all my questions again. During the process of reviewing my previous questions. Suddenly it alert me detect validation error and log me out. I did nothing wrong and did not speak a word or make a sound and was being log out suddenly. I open an case with AWS and they have to wait Pearson VUE to review which require 3 business day.

Hello, I'm sorry you had a poor proctor experience. Fortunately, 12/31/22 was our last day using PSI as a testing partner. All exams starting 1/1/23 are delivered exclusively through Pearson Vue and we will share this feedback so that there is internal visibility.
