Unable to Sign In to AWS PartyRock – Receiving 403 Error

0

Hello,

I’m currently exploring AWS PartyRock to build an app as part of my AWS training project. However, I’m encountering an issue when trying to sign in via Google or Amazon on this page: https://partyrock.aws/guide/nextSteps.

After clicking "Sign in," I receive the following error: 403 ERROR: The request could not be satisfied. Request blocked. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner. If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by reviewing the CloudFront documentation.

Here's the URL I was redirected to when the error occurred: https://partyrock.aws/auth?code=1ae70fe0-02f3-4a19-b20f-80ea14820379&state=%2Fguide%2FnextSteps%3F

I’ve been stuck on this and unable to access the PartyRock platform to complete my project. Could you please help me resolve this issue? Thank you for your assistance!

Based on the 403 error you're encountering when trying to sign in to AWS PartyRock, this appears to be related to CloudFront distribution configuration issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies, which can sometimes interfere with the sign-in process.

  2. Try using a private/incognito browsing window to eliminate any potential browser-related issues.

  3. Check if your computer's clock is correctly synchronized, as time synchronization issues can sometimes cause authentication problems.

  4. Try using a different browser altogether to see if the issue persists.

  5. The error message suggests there might be too much traffic or a configuration error. This could be a temporary issue on AWS's side, so you might want to try again later.

AWS PartyRock is a platform that allows you to build generative AI applications without coding using Amazon Bedrock. It offers a free trial for new users and doesn't require a credit card or AWS account to get started. Users can typically sign in using Google, Apple ID, or Amazon credentials.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may need to contact AWS Support directly for further assistance with this specific access issue.

Thanks for your response. I’ve tried all the suggested solutions, including clearing the browser cache and cookies, using a private/incognito window, checking clock synchronization, and trying different browsers. Unfortunately, the issue still persists.

At this point, it seems the best option might be to wait and try again later. I’ll also reach out to AWS Support to see if they can assist further.

Thanks again for your help.

Actually, I’m able to skip the sign-in step and access the PartyRock home page: https://partyrock.aws/home However, when I try to open any of the listed apps—for example: • https://partyrock.aws/u/cabcookie/RjOhsSpr0/Text-Rewriter-An-AI-Assistant-for-Professionally-Editing-Content I receive a 404 Error – App not found message. Could you please help check what might be causing this?

There are a few steps you can check:

  1. Disable any third-party extensions in the browser.
  2. Disable the VPN connection if enabled.
  3. Try using Cloudflare DNS 1.1.1.1 in your network.
  4. Inspect the page and check the network tab to view the requests
