Egress endpoints in MediaPackage always in status failed

0

Hi, I start to use the pair MediaConverter and MediaPackage for expone a test MP4 file as CMAF stream but every try I made always got me always a Egress endpoint in status failed. I think that the MediaConvert part is right because in the destination folder of the s3 bucked I see a m3u8 file and the cmfa and cmfv files with also a mpd file. So I think is something in the MediaPackage part. The role I created contain the access to that s3 bucket (AmazonS3FullAccess to be sure), as to AWSElementalMediaPackageFullAccess and AWSElementalMediaPackageFullAccess. So I think it have enough permissions. Obviously the configuration associated with the packaging group is for CMAF. Unfortunately AWS don't tell me the cause of the fail so I can only note that egress status is failed. In order to simplify the system I don't use cloudfront.

I will glad if somebody can help me understand what I missing.

For AWS MediaPackage to be used in a VOD based workflow, several components need to be configured properly.

Hi, thank for your answer. I missed that mediapackage accept only HLS . I thought that I needed to use as input a CMAF stream for export a CMAF stream.

Thanks, Paolo
