Using "Host Memory Access" in Amazon F1 FPGA?

Question

Can I use "host memory access" in Amazon F1 instance? Alveo supports such a feature that provides DMA bypass capability used for FPGA to transfer date to the host on a No-DMA platform. Since I have not seen any Amazon document mentioning it, I am wondering if Amazon F1 allows this? If allowed, what are the processes of using this? Thanks!

Please take a look at the [PCIM interface](https://github.com/aws/aws-fpga/blob/master/hdk/docs/AWS_Shell_Interface_Specification.md#pcim_interface) described in the [AWS shell interface](https://github.com/aws/aws-fpga/blob/master/hdk/docs/AWS_Shell_Interface_Specification.md). This interface provides a FPGA to instance/host memory access. If DMA engine is completely not used, I would recommend take a further look at the [Small Shell](https://github.com/aws/aws-fpga/tree/small_shell), which has the same direct memory interface above but with a much smaller footprint.
