Bug Report: Duplicate Label "Set Default Version" on Create Template Page

0

I am writing to report a bug that I have encountered on the Create Template page. It appears that there is a duplicate label named "Set Default Version" present, which is causing confusion for users attempting to navigate this section.

Here are the specific details of the bug:

Issue: Duplicate label "Set Default Version" on the Create Template page.

Additional Information: One instance of the label "Set Default Version" navigates to the "Modify Template" section.

Possible Resolution: I suggest changing the first instance of the label "Set Default Version" to "Modify Template (Create New Version)".

Steps to Reproduce:

Navigate to the Create Template page. Observe that there are two instances of the label "Set Default Version" displayed. Clicking on one of the "Set Default Version" labels navigates the user to the "Modify Template" section, which is unexpected behaviour. This redundancy and unexpected navigation may lead to user confusion and hinder the usability of the platform. Implementing the suggested resolution should help rectify this issue and ensure a smooth and efficient user experience.

Hi,

First, thanks for reporting this! Could you please send the exact URL you saw this issue on (removing any resource IDs that might be in it)? I looked on a few different console pages where this label exists, but didn't see the duplicate you described, so want to make sure I'm looking in the right place.

As a side note, while I can definitely let the applicable team know about this report, in the future I'd recommend clicking the 'feedback' button on the specific console page you see an issue on, which will open a ticket directly to the team who owns it. There's no guarantee someone will see a RePost question and get the issue logged.
