elastic graphics accelerators are not available in this region

I attempted to stop and restart one of our instances this morning. It stopped okay, but I'm unable to restart it, and am receiving the error: Failed to start the instance ABC elastic graphics accelerators are not available in this region (us-east-1). Any thoughts on how to fix this without creating a new instance? It's been active and running in this region for many, many years (maybe 6-7?)?

Hello,

From the official AWS documentation

Amazon Elastic Graphics reached end of life on January 8, 2024. For workloads that require graphics acceleration, we recommend that you use Amazon EC2 G4ad, G4dn, or G5 instances.
