Dynamo DB Limit Items

Now lets say I have an item with partition key,1 and a sort key of 2233. and another sort key with 2234. Is the limit of the item now on the partition key and all sort keys combined or one sort key and one partition key have together the limit of 400kb?

Each individual item has its own item size limit of 400KB.
