Services needed to learn databricks

0

I'm a novice user in AWS and in databricks and I am going through training in databricks academy. I am being charged about $30 per month for my AWS services and am very unclear about which of these I actually need. With my limited understanding all I can see me using is the S3 bucket to enable my workspace. How do I know what AWS services I actually need to run my databricks learning sessions?

To run Databricks on AWS, you would typically need the following AWS services: Amazon S3, Amazon EMR, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Amazon VPC, AWS Glue, Amazon Managed Grafana, Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus

I assume youa re worried about the AWS cost. If so I would also recommend running AWS cost explorer to get a better understanding of current bill and future bills . https://aws.amazon.com/aws-cost-management/aws-cost-explorer/ Just be aware that Cost explorer is not a free service.
