EB instance Degraded after Platform update

EB instance Degraded after Platform update

I got a notification from AWS that my platform needed an update, my lead Dev has done the update on our Staging server, but the instance is now Degraded with the error Following services are not running: proxy

Returning to the older version, restarting app server and rebuilding the environment didn't help.

What steps to rectify this? Is it an application error or a server error, we're struggling to find the cause

Turns out the answer was to recreate the new environment a second time, after the update, creating the new environment using the existing code. It then automatically set the latest platform version
