SAM VS CDK and SAM VPC security issues?

Hi, I plan to use SAM on my project management, if I need CDK, does it work ok with SAM?

Also, I heard SAM and VPN have problems with security. can you comment on that?

yes, AWS SAM works well with CDK, you can check here https://docs.aws.amazon.com/serverless-application-model/latest/developerguide/serverless-cdk.html

and i am not sure with what kind of problems SAM with VPN. I myself use VPN and didn't face any problems.
