I have lost my only MFA, and i cannot recover my account

0

I have only one MFA and it's stored in the bitwarden browser extension, i have deleted it by mistake and now i cannot login, i have tried recovery option but it seems that I'm using an old phone number that i don't have access to it any more, i want to update my MFA and my phone number. i have one IAM user but it does not have the permissions to reset the root account contact phone number. please bear in mind this is my personal account and it's not associated with any company.

Hello.

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/id_credentials_mfa_lost-or-broken.html?icmpid=docs_iam_console#root-mfa-lost-or-broken

You might see alternative text, such as Sign in using MFA, Troubleshoot your authentication device, or Troubleshoot MFA, but the functionality is the same. If you can't use alternative authentication factors to verify your account email address and primary contact phone number, contact AWS Support to deactivate your MFA device.

I recommend that you contact AWS via the following URL:
