AWS DX : missing Connection details.
Hi, IHAC who created a DX few months ago but the person in charge left. When checking the setup now.
- at the provider side (Megaport) everything seems ok. Connection is active, VIF details can be seen, etc.
- at the AWS console, we can see a VIF but showing status as down.
- at the AWS console, under DX, there no connection.
I am surprised that the console does not list any connection if there is still a VIF. The customer cannot create a new VIF because there is no active connection. What could be the problem here ?

How many accounts the customer has?
It might be that the DX connection is created in another account (account B), and a VIF is created with an owner of a different account (Account A).
In this case in Account A, you will be able to see a VIF, but you will not be able to see the DX connection.
If you click on the VIF ID in the Virtual interfaces page, were you able to see a Connection ID in the "General configurations" section?
