"It looks like you don't have access" with a paid monthly subscription

1

Hello everyone, I'm studying for the DVA-C02 certification but I'm having a problem with skillbuilder.

I'm paying the monthly fee of $29, but when I try to start the specific lab "Role Assumption Challenge" I'm receiving the message

"It looks like you don’t have access You need a Skill Builder subscription to access this lab. If you belong to a company or partner organization, request a subscription from your learning administrator. Already a subscriber? You may be signed in with a different account. Sign out and sign in again with the correct account."

I've been a subscriber for a week and I've only had problems with this lab specifically.

It seems you're experiencing an issue with accessing a specific lab in AWS Skill Builder despite having a paid monthly subscription. This problem could be related to your Builder ID and how it's associated with your Skill Builder subscription. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

1. First, ensure that you're signed in with the correct Builder ID. It's possible that you might be logged in with a different account that isn't associated with your subscription.

2. Try signing out of Skill Builder completely, then sign back in using the Builder ID that's linked to your subscription.

3. If you're certain you're using the correct Builder ID, check your course history in Skill Builder. If you can see your previous activity and courses, it indicates that your account is correctly recognizing your subscription.

4. If the problem persists, it could be a technical issue on AWS's end. In this case, you should contact AWS Training and Certification support for assistance. They can help verify your subscription status and resolve any account-related issues.

5. While waiting for a response from support, you might want to try accessing other labs or content to see if the problem is isolated to just the "Role Assumption Challenge" lab.

Remember, sometimes these issues can be temporary and may resolve on their own after a short while. If the problem continues, don't hesitate to reach out to AWS support for help, as they can directly address account and subscription-related problems.
