WorkDocs Ownership

Question

We have a WorkDoc Folder whose owner have left the company. No other person is the owner to this Folder. How can we get access to this folder? we are also not the viewers, and the only people who can access this folder are their team member who do not have the right to change the ownership.

Is there a way in WorkDoc, where the Ownership get automatic transferred to the other person when the creator of the folder have left the company? if not, how can we access the documents in this folder?

1. Automatic Ownership Transfer: Unfortunately, WorkDocs does not automatically transfer ownership of folders when the original owner leaves the company. Ownership transfer must be initiated manually.

2. Accessing the Folder: If the folder owner has left the company, a system administrator can step in to transfer ownership of the folder to an active user. This process involves:

* Logging into the WorkDocs admin control panel.
* 
* Searching for the inactive user (the original owner).
* 
* Selecting the option to transfer document ownership and assigning it to a new owner.
