On the Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL pricing page (https://aws.amazon.com/rds/postgresql/pricing/#Amazon_RDS_Extended_Support_costs) there is a table that can be expanded out. The price increases are per vCPU hour and can differ per region.
The calendar for when extended support would start can be found in the release calendar: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/PostgreSQLReleaseNotes/postgresql-release-calendar.html
Yes, Extended Support charges apply to your Multi-AZ RDS instances as well, and the estimate for those would be extended support cost * vCPUs * running hours * 2 so for example, a db.t3.xlarge multi-AZ instance in the Ireland region that runs 24 hours in a month with 31 days would be calculated as: 0.112 * 4 * 744 * 2 = 666.62
Thanks, I think.

Hi Ted,
Thanks for the fast response. One of our Postgres 11 instances has Multi-AZ enabled. Do the Extended support charges apply to that too?
Thanks, Perry.
