Can't delete VPC due to ENI attachment ( ECS Fargate Task )

I deployed an ECS cluster with a single task definition, and it attempted to run. I then deleted all the resources, but the ENI ( eni-0729a11211837eeb1 ) is still attached. Whenever I try to delete/detach the ENI I get an error saying I don't have permission to do so. How can I delete this ENI and then the associated VPC? The ECS cluster / task definition have already been deleted but the ENI seems stuck.

Nevermind... it just mysteriously vanished... going to assume there was a delay after realizing the ECS cluster was deleted.

Had ECS task with EBS volume stuck in deprovisioning. Was able to "kill" the ECS task, but EBS volume & ENI won't shut down

I can't delete my ENI because it's currently in use and is of type "interface" (poiting to ECS which is already deleted)
