Currently, it is not possible to directly edit the BGP keys once the interface is created. To modify the key on a VIF there are two options:
-
Create a new VIF.
- If similar parameters is required, delete the old VIF and create a new one with similar desired parameters as the VLAN on the VIF has to be unique. Otherwise:
- If possible, assign a new VLAN and create a new VIF (this requires creating a new VLAN interface on your on-premises router).
- Establish BGP on the new VIF.
- Test the connection thoroughly.
- Once confirmed working, delete the old VIF.
-
Recreate the BGP Peering. Under the existing virtual interface:
- Add a new peering for IPv6.
- Delete the existing IPv4 peering.
- Create a new IPv4 peering with the new BGP key.
- Remove the temporary IPv6 peering.
