EXT-X-START support, manifest manipulation

Is it possible to set EXT-X-START value somehow, or can we edit manifest so we can insert any unsupported tag at any position?

Thanks

Hello,

I spoke with a member of the MediaLive team and learned MediaLive does not support the EXT-X-START tag. If you would like to suggest it as a feature request, you can do so by using the feedback link in the AWS Console while using MediaLive (1). Select "Feature Request" from the feedback type dropdown.

Hello and thank you for contacting AWS re:Post!

I reviewed your information and have some feedback for you. According to RFC8216 (1) for HTTP live streaming, 4.3.5.2 (2) EXT-X-START is the preferred start point of a playlist, one of the Media or Master Playlist tags. The tag is listed as optional but has 2 attributes: TIME-OFFSET is required, while PRECISE is not (if omitted, treated as "no").

I am inquiring with colleagues to get some additional details, but believe this tag is supported in manifests. I surmise you've done some internet research and are finding limited details as I am. I'll update the post with more details when/if I can find them!

Thank you!
