FIREWALL PORT 3443 ENABLED; NODEJS Listening; fail to connect.

Trying to figure out the Lightsail Firewall and port access configuration.

I built a clean AMI Linux box. Installed Apache and installed Godaddy certificates and have zero issues regarding this web server configuration. I connect via https and everything works as expected.

Via the Networking Tab I set up a custom port configuration and enabled port 3443 to support a NODEJS server configuration to run along side the Apache server.

I access it from the outside via (https://SERVER_IP:3443 and receive constant get a fail to connect error, server not running message.

The NODEJS server is up and running and I get zero errors on the server side. I am listening to port 3443.

Is there a security group I need to set up in addition to the firewall settings? I am in the same group and the same owner as the Apache server so I should have the same security levels and port access rights unless there is some restriction I need to become aware of that I need to over ride.

Thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

I rebooted and the firewall settings were applied. Appears to be working fine. Issue closed.
