ALMA LINUX OR ROCKY LINUX WILL BE AVAILABLE IN AMAZON LIGHT SAIL?

CPANEL block new cPanel & WHM installations and upgrades on CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7 in cPanel & WHM version 112. We will support existing CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7 servers running cPanel & WHM version 110 until these operating systems reach their EOL (End of Life).

Cutoff in September 2021, neither Alma Linux nor Rocky Linux were available in Amazon Lightsail. However, it's possible that this has changed since then, so I would recommend checking the Lightsail documentation or contacting their support team for the most up-to-date information on supported operating systems.

Regarding cPanel & WHM, it's true that cPanel has announced that they will no longer support new installations or upgrades on CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7 as of version 112, and will continue to support existing installations until the operating systems reach their EOL. cPanel has also announced that they will be adding support for Alma Linux and Rocky Linux in future releases, so it may be possible to use these operating systems with cPanel & WHM in the future.
