Hello.
Unfortunately, as of July 2024, AWS has not announced a roadmap for Amazon Kendra's supported languages.
If the number of supported languages increases, it will be announced as shown in the URL below, so I recommend checking the AWS update information from time to time.

Hi there,
Thanks for the answer but because of this limitation we now need to find a workaround for our 3.3B worth GenAI chatbot multilingual expansion which will require a lot of tech bandwidth.
If semantic search launches for Italy later, we'd have a lot of throwaway work which is not optimal.
Could you connect me to the team owning this element please?
