mqtt broker not working in latest greengrass core installation in raspberry pi or ubuntu linux

Hi, First I have setup Raspberry pi 3 b with greengrass V2 and greengrass service started successfully but when I tried to deploy the mqtt broker component from public components repo deployment is failing with error seen as ...mqtt.Moquette broker in BROKEN state and it tries to reinitialize but finally fails and deployment is not successful. This I repeated with another ubuntu system but result is same i.e mqtt broker deployment fails.

Hi - Thanks for reaching out. Can you please see what error you are getting in your log ? you can access the same from here https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v2/developerguide/monitor-logs.html

we can also refer to https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v2/developerguide/troubleshooting.html based on the message seen.

Also please look into the requirements set for https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v2/developerguide/mqtt-broker-moquette-component.html

    Thanks for your response on my issue. I was searching through the greengrass.log since mqtt broker component not having its own log, I am seeing some message about component mismatch, can't I use the latest version of all components in greengrass with latest installer. thoughts ?

    The latest versions of components are always compatible.
