Migrate from iCloud to S3

Question

Does anyone have a suggestion to migrate into S3 from iCloud? I have about 2tb of photos/videos and I haven’t found a reasonable way to migrate without using my personal network connection or hard drive space. I know there are some migration services but they usually cap the amount of data you can transfer. I thought about using a snow cone as well but then I’m still using my internet to download 1000 videos/pictures per zip file.

I've not done this but could you spin up an Linux EC2 instance, install the [iCloud app](https://snapcraft.io/icloud-for-linux), or spin up a Windows EC2 instance and install [iCloud for Windows](https://support.apple.com/guide/icloud-windows/set-up-icloud-drive-icw0144825a5/icloud) and then use the [AWS CLI](https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/s3/index.html) to copy over the files to S3? Spin up the instance in the same region as your S3 bucket, terminate when done.
